If a vet check, Coggins,
Health Certificate, etc. is needed... it will be at
Buyer's Expense.
I can arrange work to be done, but will have to be
reimbursed for cost.
$82 covers the Farm Call, Coggins Test, and Health
Certificate.

Mares...
No horse will be taken off the market without a
Deposit. Horses sold on a First-Come,
First-Served Basis. Cash, Bank Wires, Debit/Credit Cards (+5%) accepted.
Bank/Cashier's checks are Only accepted
if the horse will be here long term, and
there is time for check to clear bank.
Buyer responsible for any additional expenses, Coggins, etc. until horse is picked up. Board at $10/day provided to buyers until pickup,
starting day Deal is made, if not picked up the day of purchase.
Horses Must
be picked up within 30 days of purchase,
unless other arrangements have been
made. If picked up quickly, we
often waive board fees.
No deposits or payments will be refunded
due to Buyer's failure to
complete payments, failure to complete
sale, failure to pick up horse, or any
other reason.
All Broodmares and foals will be freeze branded
with our B and Numbers before released.
No horse will be released without being paid in
full, and any expenses paid.

With Broodmares....
SALES
get Tricky. At any given time of
year, the mare is pregnant, nursing a foal,
getting bred back, about to Wean a foal (that
may be owned by someone else), etc. So,
PRICING
a Broodmare can be tricky too. If the FOAL
she is carrying/nursing is sold, or for sale
separately, then the broodmare needs to stay
here long enough to raise the current foal...
OR..... is the current foal part of the package
Price? When will the broodmare be picked
up??
If the broodmare is to be bred back to one of
our stallions, before she goes to her new
home... then, that is a factor too, and there
are expenses involved in the ultrasounds,
inseminations, semen collections, not to mention
the stud fee, and TIME.
If the mare is to be left open (not bred back
for that year), then that is a factor too.
As the seller, I need to know the buyer to 100%
committed to the purchase if I am going to skip
breeding the mare that year, because the
breeding season only gives us a few heat cycles,
and once the season is over, the mare must be
left open until the next year.... Or, if
bred, and to which stud....? So, I need
the broodmare PAID IN FULL by the time breeding
time is here....
Who pays the costs of care, vaccinations,
de-worming, dental care, feed, hay... not to
mention costs of reproductive work, ultrasounds,
inseminations, uterine flushes, medications,
pregnancy exams? ... STUD FEE? ... the
expenses can add up...
Expenses and time involved in the weeks and
months ahead before mare is picked up... can add
up quickly.
ALL our BROODMARES are currently sold with
*Half-Priced Stud Fees back to
our stallions. Read details on this site.
This Offer includes services for the MARE.
I want to help the Broodmares have a Future.
I want them to retain Value. I DON'T want
them to be discarded as "Just a Broodmare" after
a foal or two have been produced. Every
Broodmare deserves a long and productive life.
The mare 'owns' the *Half-Priced Offer, and the
offer goes with the MARE if she changes Owners.
The next owner can use the Offer back to our
studs. A Certificate is issued with the mare as
proof of this Offer.
ALL of the ABOVE has an effect on the PRICE, the
VALUE, and the SIZE of the Package.... and how
it will be priced...
So... when someone asks... "What's her Price?"... that is not a simple question. There are many factors to consider in the price or package price.
Package Deals-
Package may be Offered that would
Include the Mare and her 202 FOAL,
OR... Maybe the Package includes the MARE, But, NOT her 2021 Foal....
and She will Stay here through Weaning of the 2021 Foal...
and may include Reproductive work and expenses for breeding,
Annual vaccinations, de-worming, Annual Teeth Floating,
Board/Feed/Care for an
extended time.
Payment Plan Option (Conditions of Sale)
- This would be for a Broodmare that is staying for extended time to be Bred back after she foals, or an open mare that is staying here to be bred back to one of our stallions at our ranch before being picked up. In either case, the Broodmare MUST BE PAID IN FULL.... BEFORE the mare will be bred. She may remain here through an agreed amount of time... but, I will not begin reproductive work until she is paid for, and a breeding agreement is signed..
- Payments may be offered through the WINTER/early SPRING, and up until breeding work is scheduled to begin.
-Minimum Non-Refundable Deposit must be received to take horse off market, and reserve horse for buyer.
-Payment Plan must be set up with Payments every Month, but Payments must be completed before mare will be bred, or left open. Failure to pay off mare by scheduled deadline will cancel sale with no refunds. They must be rebred quickly, and there is no time for delays.
-Board may be charged during Payment Period,
starting the day the Deal is Made. Board
will be $10 to $15/day or more. However, Packages
may Include some or all board/care through a set
period of time, especially if Foal at side is
owned by someone else, or being sold separately.
Additional Information that applies to All Sales-
-Vet Exams are welcome at buyer's expense, before purchase.
Note- Coggins and Health Certificate available for $82/horse which also covers the Farm Call.
-Horses will be Branded with a B and numbers before picked up.
-NO Trades on these horses. Herd reduction.
-Broodmares purchased come with *Half-Priced stud fees back to our stallions. See Details on this site.
-Registration Papers and Transfers released when horse is paid in full, all payments have cleared, horse is picked up and expenses paid.

HERD REDUCTION.... selling several broodmares....
Due to Expansion of our Appaloosa Program in 2019...
we made the tough decision to sell all our APHA/Paints (we only had a big handful),
and nearly all our Cow bred mares too, to make room.
We are selling lots of great Running bred mares too,
because we are drastically downsizing our total
program.
We have also kept back back a few fillies out of
special mares or by stallions
(many that are now gone or sold) so willing to sell some great mares in order
to meet our Goal to Downsize to a smaller
number of mares in production.
We may even sell a couple more stallions...
Now that Breeding Season is Complete......
I will focus on SALES...
