He was born and bred at the famous EE Ranches of Texas. He is an NCHA Money earner with very limited showing due to injury.  Full brother to NCHA Futurity Finalist.  Sire and dam, along with siblings are proven performers.    He has a tiny, beautiful head, with a huge kind eye.  Good conformation and size, and the sweetest disposition.  He stands 15 hands and is very well balanced and athletic. 
He has proven to be a great sire too!  Some of his foals are for sale.
This stallion has been tested, and is Confirmed Negative for the EVA virus.  He has also been vaccinated for EVA and is safe to breed and his semen is safe to ship.

 He has also been tested by UC Davis and conformed to be
N/N (Negative) for the HERDA condition.  He is Not a Carrier.


Registered with AQHA and listed with APHA.  Now also registered with FQHR, and Denim Hickory is approx. 85% Foundation.

Denim Hickory was named Grand Champion Stallion at the 2006 summer OkFQHR show.
 
 

 


Here are pictures I took 12/22/05 with a winter coat.  This stallion has the tiniest, prettiest head, and huge eyes.  I can't really capture it in pictures. 
You have to see him in person to appreciate how pretty he is....

I've had a tremendous response about Denim Hickory after he arrived here.  He has only been advertised a few days, and my phone has been ringing off the hook!  I've also been contacted by several people that have his foals, and love his babies.  Here is what a few of them had to say...

"Miss Dismore, I have just found out that you are now the proud owner of Denim Hickory.  We bred two of our mares to him in 2001 and got 2 beautiful fillies.  One is a duplicate copy of Denim and the other is a sorrel with a dorsal stripe.  We had wanted to breed these mares back but was told by Christina that he would not stand to the public.  We are considering breeding some of our mares to him next year if his book is still open.  I am so happy that someone like yourself bought him and is offering him to the public again.  We have started these fillies and they are taking to training and cattle like they "were born" to.  Congratulations and we are happy to be able to breed to him once again.  I will be contacting you in the spring for dates.
